Uzbekistan. National workshop on project proposal development

In July, within the frame of 3rd Round of Civil society mobilization (CSM) strategy CAPACITY in collaboration with CAAP conducted a National Workshop on project proposal development for potential sub-recipients of CAAP. The training participants were representatives of AIDS-service organizations from 6 oblasts which were not covered during 2nd Round of CMS and representatives of organizations, which submitted Letter or interest to CAAP grant competition.

The 5-day Workshop program included both theoretical and practical parts. The participants studied main approaches and principles of Project proposal development and improved their skills on effective proposal writing. During the training each participant had a unique opportunity to develop his/her own project proposal under trainers’ counseling. By the end of the training each trainee developed a draft proposal which will be finalized based on local epidemiological data and submitted to CAAP by July 31, 2008.
