Regional. Supporting the Central Asia Network of PLHIV to improve the quality of HIV and AIDS services.

CAPACITY is supporting the development of a Central Asia, regional network of PLHIV, which will, among other things, advocate for and promote improved quality of HIV and AIDS services. A CAPACITY consultant is leading a needs assessment among PLHIV in Central Asia. The consultant is training representatives from AIDS Service Organizations in each of four Central Asian countries on the necessary skills for conducting the assessment. The trainings are followed by the assessment in multiple sites in each country. It is expected that the assessment will result in a series of recommendations of activities for the regional PLHIV network to work toward improving service quality.
