Improving Stewardship of National HIV/AIDS Programs

Signing MOU with the Government of Turkmenistan

On March 8, 2007, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The purpose of this MOU is to describe in detail and clarify strategies, polices and procedures for effective cooperation and communication between the MOHMIT and USAID in supporting the implementation of the CAPACITY Project and the GOT «National HIV/AIDS/STI prevention program for the period of 2005–2010».
